Recap of 2019
It kind of blows my mind that I disappeared from my blog back in February. What was meant to be a month break turned into a four-month break, and then it just continued. So much happened during that hiatus, and I want to share it with you all.
Saturday Night Live held an exhibit at the Broadcast Museum.
Who’s Who In Black Cleveland recognized the blog and me this past summer.
A friend held a Murder Mystery Party with a SATC theme. I played Charlotte. Am I Charlotte? I think I’ve turned into a Charlotte.
The Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie of all-time and was excited to know there are Wizard of Oz statues in Lincoln Park.
I went to my first Cubs game back in May, and it was 52 degrees.
I enjoyed family time with my sister Sheniqua and her daughter Lexi as they enjoyed Chicago during Memorial Weekend.
The annual family vacation traveled to Alaska. We went to Ketchikan, Juno, and Anchorage.
My mom before the trip: make sure you pack all winter clothes because this will not be a warm trip.
Alaska: BET!
It was 90 degrees every day there.
Mariah Carey liked one of my tweets. Still one of the best things to ever happen to me.
I dog sat a lot this year. Here are some of the dogs. Yam, Buddy (Mitchell), and Root Beer.
Attended Vigil Abloh’s exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
