1 year of Pierre into My Life

PIML Birthday.jpg

I cannot believe that this experience is celebrating its first birthday! It feels like just a few weeks ago I went to dinner with a friend and came up with the idea of creating this blog. So much has happened since I started this blog and forever grateful for all the readers who continue to return and follow my love for pop culture, travel, music and my journey in life.

Pierre into My Life helped me express myself creatively and an outlet for me to share what I am passionate about what I so deeply needed. I felt so stifled in life and desperately needed a place to write frequently and find happiness with my writing again.

The blog helped me embrace and appreciate Cleveland a little more than I itinually did.  It also helped me meet some incredible people who are a big reason why I started to love Cleveland more. I created friendships with so many bloggers in the area who show Cleveland in a different light for an outsider.

Since then I have quit my job, moved to Chicago and trying to make a career change. So this place should be interesting as I’m trying to figure this whole idea out.

Let’s look back on what Pierre into My Life has experienced.

We all know I love the Housewives franchise and I was able to chat with #RHOD cast member LeeAnn Locken. That was such a treat, especially right after an explosive season that made the show iconic.

I also interviewed a few cool people like my favorite podcast host, Cole Cuchna of Dissect to discuss the new season and what goes into creating the show. Joy Fennell about her experience as a black makeup artist and working in high-end fashion industry.

I did a lot of traveling! I went to Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, Prague, Austin, New York City (home), Jamaica, and New Orleans. Did I forget any? I feel like I am.

I shared some crazy stories like Dongs All Over the World  and Frozen on New Years Day

I was surprised more than my mom would read this. Shout out to my mom for always supporting me.

Excited to see what year 2 has to offer.

Thank you so much for coming back to read and supporting my love of writing.
